The West Coast’s most prominent and emerging interior and
landscape designers have converged on 2830 Pacific Avenue to
transform the stately four-story Georgian mansion into the 2009
SAN FRANCISCO DECORATOR SHOWCASE – California’s premiere design
showhouse.
Now in its 32nd year, the San Francisco Decorator
Showcase runs through Memorial Day, May 25th

SANTA MONICA AND VENICE, CALIF., MAY 3
Four houses will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a tour sponsored by the
American Institute of Architects/Los Angeles. Tickets, $85, at the
first site, 1517 Ashland Avenue (16th Street) in Santa Monica. Tickets
in advance, $75 ($65, institute members), can be reserved online at

SAN FRANCISCO, THROUGH MAY 25
The 2009 Decorator Showcase to benefit the scholarship program of the
San Francisco University High School is in a 1910 brick house designed
by the architect Nathaniel Blaisdell. It is at 2830 Pacific Avenue
(between Divisadero and Broderick Streets).
Open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday (Thursdays until 7 p.m.), 11
a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and Memorial Day. Admission, $30; those 60 and
